Cara Ana Teixeira Pinto, crítica de arte que gasta uma página inteira do Público a protestar pelo que chama "Combater o anti-semitismo cultivando o fascismo", não é só o governo alemão que interpreta o slogan "Free Palestine from the river to the sea" como sendo uma reivindicação da destruição do Estado de Israel, são também os seus autores e muitas outras pessoas.

Sim, alguma direita israelita usa o mesmo slogan, exactamente no sentido oposto, isto é, de defesa de um Estado israelita from de the river to the sea, o que manifestamente é sonsice é pretender que a frase é uma mera frase inócua que defende a liberdade de toda a gente que vive entre o rio Jordão e o Mediterrâneo.

Eu também acho que qualquer pessoa deve poder usar esta expressão, no sentido que entender, mas isso é porque eu defendo a liberdade de expressão, seja qual for a expressão, não é, como pretende Ana Teixeira Pinto, porque a frase é uma frase inocente e fofinha.
